What does the treatment involve?

During the treatment, very small tips penetrate the upper layers of the skin (epidermis) creating small, micro-injuries. The “micro-injuries” are created by “stamping” vertically to create clean micro-channels.

The Procell Therapies serum is them applied to the treated area. The highly concentrated growth factor serum promotes scarless healing in an anti inflammatory environment. This serum amplifies your collagen response during your skin needling treatment and improves the overall health of your skin!

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments needed greatly depend on what skin condition you are wanting to treat.

For light anti-aging and skin rejuvenation 2-3 treatments should be sufficient. For deeper wrinkles and acne scarring, 5 or more treatments may be required to achieve desired results.

There is no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as adequate time passes in between each treatment.

4 weeks minimum is recommended in between treatments irrespective of needle depth and treatment area.

What is the downtime after a treatment?

The downtime varies on the needle depth. With 0.25mm and 0.5mm needles it typically only takes a few hours for all redness to disappear (sometimes less). For 1.0mm and 1.5mm this could stretch out to a few days for all pinpoint scabbing to disappear.
