Dermal Fillers

Why Dermal Fillers?

Dermal Fillers are a very popular way of regaining youthful, plump, and supported skin. This injectable treatment is minimally invasive,  and will enhance, hydrate and restore volume loss, as well as soften fine to moderate wrinkles without surgery.

I choose to offer two dermal fillers – Restylane® and Teosyal®. Both products are well known facial dermal fillers and are renowned for their natural results.

These innovative and high quality hyaluronic acid-based fillers provide a solution for every concern, from fine lines to deep folds and wrinkles, whether due to intrinsic ageing (natural ageing) or extrinsic ageing (sun exposure, smoking etc..)

What are Dermal Fillers?

One of the key effects of ageing is volume loss. Dermal fillers made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA) are an excellent cosmetic treatment to support your own natural beauty. Best of all, dermal fillers are safe, non-permanent and can be dissolved if the result is not to your liking.

Whether it’s plumping your lips a little to create a more kissable pout, or undertaking a facial rejuvenation treatment to roll back the clock, you can be assured that you’re getting a trustworthy, world renowned product, injected by a professional with over 12 years of experience.

I can correct, complement and enhance a range of common facial concerns including lip enhancement, under-eye/tear troughs, temples, cheeks, chin, jawlines, and marionette lines (the lines around the sides of the mouth).

What is involved in the treatment of Dermal Fillers?

After a thorough consultation where we discuss your areas of concern and budget, I will give you a recommended treatment plan. I will then prep you for your treatment by removing your makeup and applying antiseptic, to prevent infection.

I will use a very fine needle to insert the Dermal Filler into the agreed area. A topical anaesthetic is used upon request, especially in sensitive areas such as the lips. The Dermal Fillers I use have a numbing agent in them to provide a comfortable procedure.

How quickly will I see results?

Treatment outcomes are evident instantly. There is always a settling in period for the filler, with slight swelling and/or bruising that may distort the final result. Usually, this settles around 3-7 days.

How long will Dermal Filler last?

Depending on the treatment area, and the product used, results can last between 6 – 18 months.

Is Dermal Filler permanent?

Permanent dermal fillers are higher risk than Hyaluronic Acid fillers, so I do not use them. Internationally, there have been some extremely rare cases of blindness. There are areas that are higher risk for this, such as the nose and frown areas, although no area is deemed “safe”. I do not offer treatment in high risk areas.

Dermal filler to treat under-eye/tear trough concerns.

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest in the body, making it particularly prone to signs of aging such as under-eye hollows, dark circles, and fine lines. Facial movements, genetics, lifestyle factors, and environmental influences can worsen these issues.

Teoxane® is the first and only hyaluronic acid dermal filler specifically designed for this delicate area. This advanced product features a blend of cross-linked and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and antioxidants to effectively smooth and fill under-eye hollows. It delivers both immediate and long-lasting results.

How much do Dermal Fillers cost?

I prefer not to list my prices online but can guarantee my prices are competitive and fair to the experience I hold.

If you would like a quote, please email, phone or text me and I am more than happy to give you a cost. Or even better, come see me for a no obligation free consultation (see below).
